During today’s State of Play, Sony confirmed that Astro Bot’s previously announced free DLC will be arriving later this Fall. The DLC will add new bots, including characters from Helldivers and Stellar Blade as well as new levels.
Released earlier this month exclusively on PS5, Astro Bot is one of the 2024’s best games one of the main reasons to own a PS5. The platformer stars the adorable and heroic Astro Bot as he saves hundreds of other robots by completing various levels, some inspired by beloved PlayStation games. Astro Bot also contains over 100 “Cameo Bots” which are robots based on PlayStation characters like Aloy from Horizon and Kratos from God of War. And 10 more of these special bots are being added in the newly teased free DLC.
The new update will be out in the Fall and will add 10 new characters to save. In the trailer, we saw the main character from Stellar Blade as well as soldiers from Helldivers 2.
