Sandwiched somewhere among the countless Halloween sales available in October, Warner Bros. Games is offering some of its own stellar discounts. That means some big-name franchises like the Arkham games, Mortal Kombat, and everything Lego are currently on sale. The WB Games Publisher Sale is running on Steam until November 4, so you still have plenty of time to capitalize on all the amazing deals.
As is the case anytime the WB catalog goes on sale, it’s a no-brainer to buy the Batman: Arkham Collection. Bundling together all three of Rocksteady’s amazing action games starring the Caped Crusader, the collection will only cost you 8.99. A decade and a half after Asylum’s release, and nearly a decade out from Knight, the Arkham trilogy still stands as probably the best superhero games ever made (though Marvel’s Spider-Man might be a close second). With a heavy emphasis on the gritty atmosphere of Gotham and Batman’s colorful rogues’ gallery, the Arkham games are also perfect for Halloween.
Of course, there are plenty of other deals to take advantage of. Here’s a more exhaustive list.
- Batman: Arkham Collection – $8.99 ($59.99)
- Mortal Kombat 1 – $24.99 ($49.99)
- Injustice 2 Legendary Edition – $8.99 ($59.99)
- Middle-earth: The Shadow Bundle – $6.99 ($69.99)
- FEAR Complete Pack – $5.49 ($54.99)
- The LEGO Games Bundle – $14.99 ($99.99)
- LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga – $9.99 ($49.99)
- Mad Max – $3.99 ($19.99)
If you want a true horror experience for spooky season, you should also pick up the underrated horror FPS, F.E.A.R. The 2005 title might be a bit old for some people’s tastes but its blend of FPS action with supernatural scares still feels unique and fresh. There are two mainline sequels to F.E.A.R. that you can also try out, but neither reach the same heights as the original.
