Milady is a Light Greatsword found in Elden Ring’s Shadow of the Erdtree expansion. It bridges the gap between a straight sword and a greatsword, giving you faster attacks that still deal plenty of damage. It also provides a fun and visually intriguing move set that makes it a joy to use in combat.
Here’s what you need to know about Milady and where to find it.
Milady stats and features
Milady has a weight of 6.5 and requires the following stats to wield:
The weapon comes equipped with Ash of War: Impaling Thrust. Using this Ash of War allows you to thrust forward with an extremely powerful attack. It’s so powerful, in fact, that it’s designed for breaking the guard of your enemies when they’re turtling behind a shield. Pop this bad boy and watch them lose their balance, then move in and deal out the hurt.
Milady can be upgraded to +25 with standard Smithing Stones.
Milady item description
Milady’s item description reads:
“A light greatsword; that is, a sword whose blade matches the length of a greatsword, while being constrained to a minimal weight. Nicknamed after ladies of noble status for its refined appearance.”
Where to find Milady
You can find Milady early on in your adventure through Castle Ensis. Soon after crossing the bridge at the beginning of the castle, continue down the main path until you reach an area with cave ahead and some wooden stairs behind you. If you’ve reached a new Site of Grace, you’ve gone too far.
Defeat the enemies around the wooden stairs, then ascend them. Ahead of you will be a ladder leading up to a tower, so climb it all the way up to find a chest. Open the chest to find Milady waiting for you. Now get out there and get flashy with your combat!
