The Flowerstone Gavel is a Hammer that is only found in Elden Ring’s Shadow of the Erdtree expansion. You’ll have to defeat one of the game’s hardest bosses to obtain this weapon, but if its cool looks and unique Ash of War effect seem like something that would be beneficial to your build, you’ll find it well worth the trouble.
Here’s what you need to know about the Flowerstone Gavel and where to find it.
Flowerstone Gavel stats and features
The Flowerstone Gavel has a weight of 6.0 and requires the following stats to wield:
The weapon comes equipped with Ash of War: Flower Dragonbolt. This Ash of War calls down red lightning on an enemy to deal damage while reducing its resistance to lightning damage, making it more susceptible to additional strikes. You can charge this ability to make it even stronger.
The Flowerstone Gavel can be upgraded to +10 with Somber Smithing Stones.
Flowerstone Gavel item description
The Flowerstone Gavel’s item description reads:
“Weapon of the Dragon Communion priestess. A dragonstone hammer resembling an ancient flower.
The four petals and the flower’s core are all sharp, ending in points, and are capable of dealing heavy damage to dragons.”
Where to find the Flowerstone Gavel
To obtain the Flowerstone Gavel, you’ll need to defeat one of the game’s most difficult and chaotic bosses: Bayle the Dread. This boss can be found at the end of the Jagged Peaks section of the DLC’s map, accessible by completing the Dragon’s Pit dungeon on the southeastern cliffs of Gravesite Plain.
Once you’ve made your way up Jagged Peak and faced off against Bayle, you can return to the Grand Altar of Dragon Communion located south of the Dragon Pit’s Terminus Site of Grace.
When you arrive at the Grand Altar of Dragon Communion, you’ll find that the priestess who once occupied the area near the communion site has disappeared leaving behind the Flowerstone Gavel for you to claim as your own.
